I have taught for 20 years in the traditional classroom and as a virtual teacher. I have been an educational technology coach for an elementary school for grades K-5. and an online ESL teacher. I have taught or coached grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I have a Master of Elementary Education degree with undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, with a minor in Psychology. I also earned National Board certification.
Creativity and hands-on learning abounds in my classroom. I want students to enjoy learning. I also want to help put creative resources in the hands of teachers. While creative, I also run a very structured classroom to ensure learning occurs. I love using interactive tools, technology, songs, games, etc, to engage students.
